Computer Support Plan
$50 per month per unit (each unit covers up to four computers)
Geekoids.com shall provide the following services:
- We will provide up to two hours per month of technical support via phone or remote administration services via RDP (high speed internet access required)
- Geekoids.com will install and maintain the subscriptions for the anti-virus software for each covered stand-alone system (you may choose between Norton Internet Security and Trend Micro PC-Cillin). Server Anti-Virus products are not covered.
- You will receive a 20% discount off our published labor charges for on-site or in-shop work.
- Geekoids.com recommends that each covered computer receive at least one PC-Tuneup per year. Covered computers will receive a $50 discount on this service.
- Geekoids.com will replace any of the following components in covered computers without charge, provided that the system is brought into the shop and has not been tampered with: Case Fans, Power Supplies (not including Laptop power blocks), Internal CD/DVD Drives (including writers), Internal Hard Drives (Data Loss is not covered, O/S and other software re-installation charges are covered, provided that the customer can provide us with media and licensing keys), Internal Floppy Drives, and Media Readers.
Server Support Plan
$650 for a block of 10 hours of remote administration.
We have found that routine server administration can be accomplished remotely. To that end, we will discount our normal remote access fees by $10 per hour if you buy at least a block of ten hours. If an onsite presence is requires, we will simply bill you an additional $20 per hour. Geekoids will supply the following services:
Weekly checks of the backup and service logs, anti-virus/spyware checks and hardware status checks (performance, disk status, etc).
Routine administrative tasks (add/remove users, reset passwords, etc.)
